Hello, this is Scotty Gwyer for CJ106 at the Brandon Winter Fair. It's April 1 and mayhem has hit at the Westman Place. The day started normal with chuck wagon races, when a wheel fell off of a wagon, continuing to roll all the way to the main stage where it collided with the sound board. Sparks flew everywhere, which ignited a hay fire. The running of the bulls has nothing on the evacuation of the Westman Place. This is the running of the whole farm! I would recommend coming by the CJ106 booth if you are in the area, we have bandages, barricades, and a dart gun.
Casualties have not yet been determined, but hundreds so far have sustained injury from the rampant stampede of frightened animals. Organizers are suggesting to bring your own barbecue sauce, as there is a raging inferno of barbecued meats in the Kinsmen Arena. Although children under 12 get in free, it is highly recommended that you dress them in hockey or football pads.
